Homer is 225 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska on the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula and the shores of Kachemak Bay. By car: approximately 3 ½-4 hours

Travel to Outside Venues at the Conference
Two of the evening readings are at venues outside of Land's End. Additionally, there are many attractions in the town of Homer that are not within easy walking distance from the conference. Participants are urged to share rides, and often special deals on taxis are available.
