Sara Loewen

Sara Loewen’s writing has appeared as a column for the Anchorage Daily News and in a variety of literary journals including Riverteeth, The Laurel Review, Terrain, and Literary Mama. Her essay collection, Gaining Daylight, is forthcoming from the University of Alaska Press in February 2013. She has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She and her family commercial fish for salmon each summer, and she teaches at Kodiak College.
