Erin Coughlin Hollowell

Erin Coughlin Hollowell is the author of the poetry collection Pause, Traveler. She earned her MFA from the Rainier Writing Workshop in 2009. She was commissioned by the University of Alaska Southeast to write a play in poems, Bedsheets, for the Southeast Alaska Humanities Forum in 2006, and served from 2008-2012 on the Alaska State Literary Arts Panel. Hollowell was the Rona Jaffe Scholarship winner for poetry at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in 2010 and is a 2013 recipient of a Rasmuson Foundation Fellowship and the Connie Boochever Award. She is one of the inaugural recipients of the Alaska Literary Award. Her work has most recently been published in Alaska Quarterly Review, Permafrost, Border Crossing, and Sugar House Review and is forthcoming in Prairie Schooner.
