Katherine Fausset

Katherine Fausset has been a literary agent with Curtis Brown, Ltd. in New York since 2006. She represents a range of fiction and nonfiction, including both literary and commercial fiction, YA, journalism, prescriptive and narrative nonfiction. Some of her clients include Benjamin Percy, Emily St. John Mandel, Laura van den Berg, Kyle Minor, Elise Juska, Lisa Brackmann, M.L. Longworth, Moustafa Bayoumi, Kristyn Kusek Lewis and New York Times bestsellers Cara Black, Cynthia Hand and Chris Rose. She began her career in book publishing in 1999 as an assistant at the Watkins/Loomis Agency, where she ultimately became an agent. She is also a co-author of two humorous cookbooks for twenty-somethings, The Cooking Club Cookbook and its sequel, published—way back when she actually was a twenty-something—by Random House. Katherine is a graduate of Harvard University, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
