Joseph Enzweiler

Joseph Enzweiler is the author of six books of poetry including Stonework of the Sky (Graywolf Press, 1995), A Curb in Eden (Iris Press, 1998), and most recently A Winter on Earth (Iris Press, 2006). He was born in Cincinnati in 1950 and came to Fairbanks in 1975. He has lived in interior Alaska for over 30 year, where he works summers as a stonemason and carpenter and spends winters writing. He is currently working on a memoir about Fairbanks during the pipeline days and a series of children’s books about his black Manx cat.
