James Engelhardt

James Engelhardt’s poems have appeared in the Laurel Review, Hawk and Handsaw, ACM: Another Chicago Magazine, Terrain.org, Painted Bride Quarterly and many others. His work is forthcoming in the North American Review, Natural Bridge,  and other journals. His critical work has appeared in the Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Association, and his ecopoetry manifesto can be found at octopusmagazine.com. He was on the editorial staff of Prairie Schooner, the international literary journal at the University of Nebraska, from 2004-2011, where he worked as an intern, book prize coordinator, and the managing editor. He is now the acquisitions editor at the University of Alaska Press.
