Elizabeth Bradfield

Elizabeth Bradfield is the author of Interpretive Work (Arktoi Books, 2008) and has recently completed a manuscript of poems about Antarctic exploration titled YIKLA: This is the Life. Her poems have appeared The Atlantic Monthly, Poetry, and Field as well as the anthologies Best New Poets 2006 and Joyful Noise: An Anthology of American Spiritual Poetry. She has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and has been awarded fellowships at the Vermont Studio and the Bread Loaf Writer's Conference. To pay for pens, notebooks, and gigabytes, she works as a web designer and as a naturalist. In 2005, Bradfield founded Broadsided, a virtual, grassroots press dedicated to putting art and literature on the streets. A recent transplant from Anchorage, where she lived for the last five years, she is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
