Peggy Shumaker

Peggy Shumaker’s new book of poems is Gnawed Bones (Red Hen Press).  Her memoir Just Breathe Normally is now out in paperback from Bison Books/U. of Nebraska Press.  Professor emerita from University of Alaska Fairbanks, she teaches in the Rainier Writing Workshop MFA Program.  Shumaker is founding editor of Boreal Books, which publishes literature and fine art from Alaska.
