Eva SaulitisEva Saulitis is the author of Leaving Resurrection, a collection of essays. Her poems and essays have appeared in many literary magazines, including Northwest Review, Prairie Schooner, Quarterly West, Crazyhorse, Cimarron Review, Seattle Review, Carnet de Route, Sow's Ear Poetry Review and several anthologies, including Home Ground: Language for an American Landscape. She is the recipient of writing fellowships from the Island Institute, the Rasmuson Foundation and the Alaska State Council on the Arts. An essayist, poet and biologist, she teaches creative writing and English at UAA’s Kachemak Bay Campus of Kenai Peninsula College and creative writing at UAA’s low-residency MFA program.
