Eva SaulitisEva Saulitis is a writer, teacher and marine biologist. Her most recent books are Many Ways to Say It (poetry) and Into Great Silence (memoir). A Pushcart Prize nominee, her poems, reviews and essays have appeared in many magazines and anthologies, including Orion, Northwest Review, Prairie Schooner, Quarterly West, and Crazyhorse. She teaches creative writing at UAA's Kachemak Bay Campus of Kenai Peninsula College and the University of Alaska Anchorage low-residency MFA program. For the past 25 summers, she has studied the orcas of Prince William Sound, Alaska.
