Karen Joy Fowler

Karen Joy Fowler is the author of seven books -- five novels and two short story collections.  Her first novel, Sarah Canary, won the Commonwealth award for best first novel by a Californian, her collection, Black Glass, won a world fantasy award in 1999.  The Jane Austen Book Club, published in 2004, was a New York Times bestseller and her most recent book is Wit's End, a comic novel set in her hometown of Santa Cruz, California.
